Hello everyone,

As some of you already know, I'm originally from Nador in northern Morocco, more precisely from Beni Enzar. I spend every August there and have done so since my childhood. My family owns a house 10 minutes' walk from Melilla, which is a Spanish enclave. We therefore spend our summer holidays between these two territories.

I really like this city, rich in history, as well as the architecture of the old town called "Melilla Vieja", but also for its shops right in the center.

I have very distant memories of Melilla. Especially when my grandmother, who speaks fluent Spanish, took my cousins and I to the "Feria" and we came back with prizes we had won playing lotteries. In fact, we still have some of those prizes. Small porcelain vases proudly displayed in glass cases at Beni Enzar's house.

Anyway, I won't go on for long, but I wanted to share with you some photos of Melilla, this little piece of Europe in Morocco where I love to wander with my family.

Happy new school year to all.
